First Step Counseling Center is the first therapy center to become a Certified Autism Center™ (CAC) in Kuwait and GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council). The CAC designation is granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) and requires therapists and staff complete autism-specific training and certification to ensure they can better assist autistic patients.

First Step Counseling Center provides early intervention services, behavior therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Center staff assist patients of all ages to help them learn, grow and gain independence.
