They are ably guided by the medical administration and headed by an internist. A variety of emergencies, be it medical, surgical, obstetric, pediatric or of super specialty branches are seen daily and cared for, investigated, and, if necessary, referred to the relevant specialist, all of whom are available on call, day and night. The ER has a triage room, an isolation room and ample beds for observation in the observation ward, should the need arise.
